Sokoza Consulting does training differently. We research skills gaps and from there we then design and develop all of our training courses in great detail with one aim in mind - to help you take your Course Participants and your company to the next level. Having this capability in-house allows us to conduct an in-depth training needs analysis, pinpoint urgent skills gaps and design practical learning modules which are highly relevant to the South African working environment.

  • Capacity building on Accreditation 
We will assist you to get your accreditation by empowering you through capacitation workshops or sessions to help you grow and understand everything there is to know about SETA accreditation.

We will assist you in knowing and understanding the following: 
- SETA Application - Business Documents

- Quality Management System 
- Facilitators , Assessors and Moderators The intensive session will ensure that you understand SETA accreditation 
- staffing, premises, legal documents and training material requirements.

  • Facilitation 
Sokoza Consulting Services is a leader in facilitating services for your training with more than thirty years combined experience in servicing companies and organizations in South Africa. Our facilitators are eloquent and experts in training and development. They know how to guide courses and workshops. They have acquired the professional attitudes, skills and knowledge they need as facilitators. Our facilitators acknowledge that teaching skills can be learned and that those who accept special responsibilities for teaching should take steps to ensure that they develop and maintain the skills of a competent teacher. 

  • Assessment and Moderation services 
Sokoza Consulting has SETA registered Assessors and Moderators available to offer assessment and moderation services. We run a complete outsourced assessment service, including the learner contact and support, POE assessment and re-assessment right up to internal moderation, preparation of results upload. We also offer pre- assessment moderation of assessment instruments/ processes and preparation for SETA external moderation/ verification visits. All our constituent registered assessors and moderators are highly experienced and are experts with SETA certification requirements.

  • Coaching and Mentoring 
Following training, the next step to develop the skills that you have learned is by coaching and mentoring. Coaching provides individuals with feedback, insight, guidance and direction to enhance potential. It aims to unlock potential and build skills, experience and confidence to address gaps and maximise individual effectiveness. 

  • Design and Develop Assessment Instruments/ Tools 
Sokoza Consulting has a team of experienced training material developers. Our training material developers can develop material for both accredited and non-accredited learning. We also customise learning material to speak to your organisation’s strategies and goals.

   ● Skills Audit 
We review the existing competencies within the organisation. We assess against the individual against their current position and future positions to identify the immediate and future skills gaps. Our skills auditing tool will identify the risk areas and assist with training requirements. Our skills auditing tool is able to identify latent skills that an individual may have. Skills audits help identify strategic priorities to meet business goals. Skills auditing provides effective help to plan better for training. 

   ● Skills Development Facilitators (SDF) 

At Sokoza Consulting & Services we have registered Skills Development Facilitators who are able to assist companies with the following
 : 
  • Assist the employer and employees in the development of a Workplace Skills Plan 
  • Submit the Workplace Skills Plan to the relevant SETA 
  • Advise the employer on the implementation of the Workplace Skills Plan 
  • Assist the employer with the obtaining of an Annual Training Report against the approved Workplace Skills Plan 
  • Advise the employer on quality assurance requirements as set by the relevant SETA 
  • We serve as a contact person between the employer and the relevant SETA
